G'DAY,

11 years ago this month Off The Hip Records released it's debut album,
The Stoneage Hearts "Turn On". And in that time we've released more
than 120 albums, compilations and double CD retrospectives, plus a
handful of singles and eps, plus 5 fanzines.

This month we present two new label releases:
CARRIE PHILLIS & THE DOWNTOWN 3 "SPEND IT WITH YOU" 4song 12" ep.
Carrie of The Booby Traps teams up with Johnny Casino, Craig Jackson
and Scotty Nash, and deliver a formidable rock'n'roll outfit.

The Off The Hip record label has started 2013 with 2 new releases:
LA BASTARD "TALES FROM THE BEYOND" CD and an LP version of MIDNIGHT
WOOLF'S "I'LL BE A DOG". And in the coming weeks we'll present new
releases from CARRIE PHILIS AND THE DOWNTOWN 3 (carrie from boobytraps
& johnny casino), LITTLE MURDERS, TEA, ROCKET TO MEMPHIS, LOS CHICOS,
KING SALAMI & more. The record store has re-openned after a couple of
weeks closure, drop in when you're next in Melbourne's CBD. Oh and
don't forget we've got Off The Hip logo t-shirts ready for your
summerfun!!

Off The Hip bands in the recording studio:
*Little Murders are currently recording a new album provisionally
titled "Rocket To The Moon" ..hopefully to be released before the end
of the year. Recording at Audrey studios with Craig Pilkington
producing

*Green Circles are in the middle of recording 11 new tracks for an
album due for release later in the year

*Midnight Woolf have finished recording a new album. LP release coming
Sept in time for their tour of Spain.

*La Bastard have just finished mixing a new 3 track single, "Take Me
Away' which will be available in digital format from next week and
will be launched on Friday 22nd July at the John Curtin Bandroom.
